Typically, the manner in which we gauge Jake, our rescue dog’s relationship with people with whom he has regular contact, is in his immediate response on first seeing them.

I first met Jessica around 2007 when, as an immediate neighbour, we engaged her as a baby-sitter for our two young children.

Jess was always kind, considerate and reliable with a good sense of humor and, when she advised us that she had been training to become a Dog-Walker and therapist, it was a “no-brainer” to transition her involvement with our (now maturing) children into that of a regular dog-walker for our dogs.
